Really good Breakfast Experience

“Having breakfast at Friars Wynd was a true delight! The breakfast selection was impressive with a range of options including gluten-free items. I particularly enjoyed the porridge with berries, which exceeded my expectations of what Scottish porridge should taste like. The quality of the ingredients was great and everything was well presented. I can't wait to return to try the chef's famous sticky toffee pudding!” read full review

Charming Boutique Ambiance

“My room had a stunning boutique style that was both spacious and comfortable. The furnishings were of good quality, and it felt very fresh and clean. I loved the stylish decor details, like the modern shower room and even an interesting verse on the wall that added character. Despite a few minor downsides like dim lighting, the overall experience made me feel right at home.” read full review

Modern Shower Facilities

“The bathroom was a highlight of my stay! It was modern and clean, featuring a great shower that provided plenty of warm water. The towels were high quality, adding to the overall luxurious feel of the room. This attention to detail in the bathroom certainly enhanced my experience, making it feel more upscale compared to typical hotel offerings.” read full review

Very Comfortable Sleep

“The bed in my room was incredibly comfortable, allowing me to rest well after a long day of exploring. I appreciated the thick mattresses and fresh linens, which contributed to a cozy atmosphere. Even though the mattress was slightly soft, I found it perfect for a restful night's sleep, making it a wonderful place to retreat after a busy day.” read full review
